This vendor permit is issued subject to compliance with the conditions specified in part IV and part V of By-law No. 2022-129. Permission is hereby granted to the party to whom this permit is issued or its duly authorized agent(s) to sell Consumer Fireworks at such a time and place as specified on this permit.

  • Permitted to sell on Victoria and Canada Day, and each of the seven (7) days immediately preceding Victoria Day and Canada Day.
  • Permitted to advertise Victoria Day and Canada Day; and each of the twenty-one (21) days immediately preceding Victoria Day and Canada Day.

Conditions Upon Approval

  • The permit is valid only for the calendar year in which it is issued.
  • The permit is valid only for the sale location specified on the permit.
  • Every permit holder shall provide and maintain fully operational fire extinguishing equipment ready for immediate use.
  • The permit holder shall sell Consumer Fireworks in conformance with the information provided to the Fire Chief pursuant to part IV and part V of By-law 2022-129.
  • The permit holder shall comply at all times with the provisions of the Explosives Act, Fire Protection and Prevention Act and the provisions of By-law 2022-129
  • Any other condition deemed reasonable in the circumstances by the Fire Chief (noted below).
  • No permit holder shall sell Consumer Fireworks except in accordance with the conditions of the permit.
  • The applicant of this application shall acknowledge that they shall indemnify and hold harmless the Municipality and it’s servants, agents and employees from all damages, actions, causes of actions, suits, claims and demands whatsoever which may arise directly or indirectly by reason of the discharge, transport, set-up, operation display and/or discharge of fireworks.

The personal information on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, as amended, the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, as amended and By-law No. 2022-129, as amended. The information will be used for the purpose of processing this application and administering the legislation. Any release of this information will be in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
