The Pop-ups on the Bay is an outdoor hub of fun, food, entertainment and shopping for residents and visitors to Belleville. The City of Belleville is seeking businesses to participate in the 2024 Pop-ups on the Bay as vendors and operators. Please scroll down to apply.

This year the City of Belleville is pleased to present an exciting season of activity at the waterfront on the beautiful shores of the scenic Bay of Quinte. Located in West Zwick’s Park, just west of the Tom Gavey Pavillion, this site has easy access to the 3.25 km Zwick’s Trail for walking, cycling and running.

 2024 Lease Rates

Pop-ups on the Bay wants to see businesses thrive and offers a unique opportunity to start or grow your business!

Successful applicants vendors will receive:

• A secure, 100 sq. ft. shipping container style commercial unit with hydro
• *For food service: a secure, 100 sq. ft. shipping container style commercial unit with water and hydro services that meet food handling requirements
• Wi-fi connection for point of sale terminals
• Customer Parking
• Garbage and grounds maintenance
• Dedicated on site-coordinator
• Marketing campaigns
• Promotional activations including entertainment and special events.
• *Business License if applicable
• Food Trucks receive prime parking location, water and hydro access

Vendors:
Seasonal Lease May – September: $1980.00
Weekly Lease: cost per week between May – September (18 weeks in the season): $200.00 *hydro only

Food Trucks
Seasonal Lease: May – September: $3400
Weekly Lease: cost per week between May and September (18 weeks in the season): $375.00

Payment Terms:

Seasonal Vendors/ Trucks: 50% of the payment will be due to the City of Belleville upon signing of the lease agreement. The balance is due August 2, 2024

Rotating Vendors/ Trucks: Payment in full due 2 weeks prior to lease date.

PLEASE NOTE that submitting this application does not commit a vendor to participating in the 2024 Pop-Ups on the Bay initiative, but does allow The Corporation of the City of Belleville to offer successful applicants a spot for the 2024 season. Successful applicants who meet all requirements will be asked to sign a lease agreement with The Corporation of the City of Belleville before the May 15th, 2024 start date.
