The City of Belleville's Green Task Force is now seeking nominations for the first-ever Environmental Stewardship Awards. 

These awards celebrate individuals, organizations, businesses and community groups that demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to protecting, preserving and enhancing our environment. Through their actions, these environmental champions help create a greener, healthier and more sustainable Belleville for current and future generations.

Award Categories

Nominations may be submitted in one or more of the following categories:

  • Built Environment
  • Environmental Policies 
  • Education
  • Naturalized Landscaping with Native Plants and Trees
  • Recycling and Organic Composting
  • Renewable Energy
  • Wildlife Protection and Conservation

Nominations

Individuals may submit nominations for multiple nominees, however, a separate nomination form must be completed for each nominee.

Please do not include any personal or identifying information on this form.

Personal information on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act 2001, SO 2001, c25 and will be used to process your Nomination Form. Questions about the collection of this personal information should be directed to the City Clerk's Office at clerksoffice@belleville.ca.
