The cost for a zoning and building compliance letter is $340.00. You can pay online using a Visa or MasterCard.

You will receive a PDF version of your zoning and building compliance letter by email within 5 business days.

The letter will indicate what the current zoning is for the subject lands. Please refer to the Zoning By-law for a list of permitted uses and specific provisions for each type of use. The City does not provide comment on the conformity of the building(s) on the subject property to setback requirements, nor of the subject property to zoning requirements, but excerpts from the by-law relating to the subject property are available upon request.

The letter will also indicate if there are any open building permits or outstanding work orders regarding property standards issues.
